1. Check whether the promise holds

   “Two hours, gloves, and a shared bin bag. Log what you find; the data travels further than the litter.” That is the pitch. Spend an hour on first-hand accounts rather than listicles — what it costs, how long it really takes, and what people wish they had known.

2. Find the small version first

   There is almost always a one-afternoon version. Do that before committing money or telling anyone.

3. Put it somewhere you will see it

   An intention you have not written down is a mood. A list you revisit is a decision you keep making.
